Gently coated fabrics are very popular in France as they combine easy care and convenience with the elegance, suppleness and warmth of our fabrics without the plastic feel and heaviness of typical oilcloth fabrics.
Quality Basque linen is a world where design, rich touch and longevity meet. Each thread is individually died before being woven as opposed to mainstream fabrics where colour is just printed on the fabric. For our coated collections, a delicate but resilient acrylic coating is applied by induction to the woven cotton fibre without compromising the natural suppleness and textured look of the fabric.
Pricing here is for guidance, all our tablecloths are custom made so we encourage you to reach out with your table dimensions (including extension, need for umbrella hole, usage, etc). We will finalize with you the optimal dimensions for perfect fit and versatility and will cut / sew accordingly. Please note all our tablecloths are made to order and can take up to 10 days.
A simple hand wiping of tablecloth with soap is advised for day to day care. Should you decide to machine wash, expect an approximate 8% shrinkage after first wash. Please review our fabric care section for full instructions. Hemming is done on the 2 short sides, ( unless you request otherwise), other sides are machine cut and will not fray.
